These terms govern your use of lovani.co (the “Site”), operated by Lovani (“Lovani”, “we”, “us”), a jewellery house operating from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia since 2024. By using the Site or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Products

All Lovani jewellery is made to order. Materials are described plainly on every product page: 925 sterling silver, 18K gold plating, and moissanite (or as otherwise stated). Product photography is as faithful as screens allow; minor variations in colour and finish are natural for handmade, plated jewellery and are not defects.

2. Orders and payment

An order is accepted when payment is confirmed by our payment providers (FPX via Billplz for MYR; card via Stripe for USD). Until then, an order confirmation page or email is an acknowledgement, not acceptance.
Prices are shown in MYR or USD; the currency you check out in is the currency you are charged in. We may correct obvious pricing errors and will offer you a full refund if we cannot honour a mispriced order.
We never see or store your card or banking credentials — payment happens on the secure pages of Billplz or Stripe.

3. Production, shipping and risk

Production timelines are stated on each product page and are estimates made in good faith. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provided. Please ensure your shipping details are accurate — re-shipment due to an incorrect address may be charged.

4. The Lovani Registry

Every ring is assigned a unique certificate number recorded in the Lovani Registry before shipping.
The registry records the ring’s specification and its owner. Once an owner is stamped into a certificate record, the record is permanent and will not be altered.
The public verification page shows a masked owner name to protect privacy; the full record is held by us.
A certificate is a record of authenticity and ownership history. It is not a valuation, an investment instrument, or a guarantee of resale value.
We may void a certificate in the registry where it has been used in fraud, counterfeiting, or misrepresentation. Where a ring is replaced under warranty, the original number is retired and a new number is issued (see our refund & warranty policy).
You agree not to probe, scrape, or attempt to enumerate the registry, and not to present any certificate as relating to an item other than the one it was issued for.

5. Refunds and warranty

Because every ring is made to order and permanently registered, sales are final once registration takes place. Warranty repair and replacement terms are set out in the refunds, warranty & replacements policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Intellectual property

The Site, the Lovani name and wordmark, product designs, photography, and the content of the registry are our property or licensed to us. You may not reproduce them for commercial purposes without our written consent.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site — including attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, submitting false orders or false registry claims, or using it in breach of any law of Malaysia or your own country.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of Malaysia, including under the Consumer Protection Act 1999. Subject to that, our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction, without depriving you of any protection granted by mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
